Fall 2015 Studio Workshops
All studio workshops are held on Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. in Tigard. Most materials are supplied, including lunch (pizza, salad and soft drinks). Class size limited to eight students, unless indicated otherwise. Ages 18+ To register, email jjgoodell@gmail.com
Saturday, October 3
Beginning Watercolors Fee: $99
Spend a day learning the basics to good watercolor painting. We’ll cover color mixing, washes, wet-on-wet, dry brush and glazing. Plus I’ll introduce you to a new product call Brusho (see my demo at: YouTube)! Absolutely, no experience required! All supplies provided.

Creating Vinyl Painted Floor Mats Fee: $125
Here’s your chance to create those lovely, hand-painted vinyl floor mats that are perfect for so many places in your home. All supplies provided, including mat (approx. 18” x 27”) paints, brushes and lunch. Bring old clothes—this can get pretty messy. Limited to six students only.
Saturday, November 14
Stippling Fee: $99
Learn how to create a lovely art piece using one dot at a time. We’ll explore two methods: straight black ink and then move on to color application, using pens and markers. All materials supplied, including lunch! Bring an apron or old shirt.
Saturday, December 5
Drawing with Pen and Ink
Fee: $99
Learn pen and ink techniques using nib pen, India and acrylic inks. We’ll study the traditional method of putting pen to paper and create some stunning illustration at the same time. All materials are supplied, including lunch. Here’s a great chance to create some lovely gifts and even holiday cards. Bring an apron or old shirt.

If you can write your ABCs, you can learn to draw! Everything is covered: line, shape, form and perspective with practical examples and constructive exercises. Bring 90# or heavier, spiral sketchbook; all other supplies provided.

Here’s a day-long design workshop especially created for the artist, decorator, gardener or crafter. Explore the seven elements of design and learn how to create a pleasing composition. All materials supplied, including workbook.

Come join us for a week of sketching the small village of Chiseldon, England. About 70 miles west of London, the village is located in the heart of rural Southwest England–the land of Stonehenge, Jane Austin and much more.
